I have owned this car for about 14 years. It is a 1980 Red Corvette with red leather interior and a caramelized walnut cockpit and a Targa fiberglass roof. L-48 model, 350 V-8. It has 100, 928 miles on it . I myself have put only 6800 miles on it since purchasing it. Here's some of the new parts / repairs I have done : Brand new battery, brand new starter both summer 2009. New motor, relays and arms for windshield wipers and new Targa top 2008. All new weather stripping and had the A/C serviced summer 2007. All new belts , hoses and wires , new valve covers, new vacuum reservoir for the pop -up headlights, Rebuilt carb, rebuilt power steering, brand new factory direct transmission , brand new rear differential, new pinyon seals, new parking brake, new motor for the power antennae, new Master cylinder and new front brakes with about 6K miles on them. The tires were new when I brought the car and are still in great shape . The car runs great and is mechanically in very good shape. The paint is 30 years old and does have some fade spots especially around the rear wheel wells and hood. It will probably need paint in a year or two.
